Previous Month's Goals

✅ Every single goal accomplished

kinda

...

Didn't finish the replicate #2. Apparently the tutorial I was following was outdated. The libraries he used for the React part don't work.

Sooo I'm learning React, which is a coding language, now fully from scratch :))

I made all the smart contract logic needed for the project. All I need to do it make a website so that you can interact with it.

I've been learning web development now so that I don't need to follow that outdated tutorial.

NEXT MONTH IT IS FINISHED

Read all the articles I wrote last month here.

One of them is about how to wake up early.

I really recommend to read it.

Staying On Top Of Your Active Mind

This month I've realised the extent to how fucking active my mind is. I can't stop it. I'm thinking like chess 24/7.

Thinking about situations that happened before and how I could've reacted and then their reaction to that and then my counter-reaction etc.

And then slightly altering the situation and doing it all over again.

Autistically analysing every consequence of my actions.

The only healthy way to stop this is by meditating.

Thanks to meditating, I'm living more in the present instead of analysing useless shit in my head. I've been way more happy thanks to it.

I recommend it to everyone.

We're all avoiding our true selves. Distracting our minds with Netflix, articles, books, YouTube, music, ...

When was the last time you stared at the wall?

You don't even know who you are, you're not spending time with yourself.

Meditating is hard at first.

I could barely do a minute. Now it's 20 minutes a day, when I have the time, I do 30-45 minutes.

This combined with journalling made me appreciate life on another level.

Use Medito to track your meditation. Just use the timer function.

All the ASMR talk that people listen to while meditating is again distracting them from their true selves.

If you want me to help you with meditating, reply to this. We can chat or call and I'll give you all the useful tips :)

Insights On Listened Podcasts

I recommend everyone to listen to the podcasts instead of just reading a short insight from me.

Islam and the Possibility of Peace | Mohammed Hijab | The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast - S4: E66

This one was sooo goodd. Both controversial figures in the media, both religious, both intellectual, both precise in their speech, both extremely polite while correcting each other, and admitting mistakes.

They talked about: What is Islam, Muhammad’s warrior traits and Hijab’s interpretation, human divinity, Mohammed’s (the guy on the left) view of worship and belief, Muslims and Christians as followers of Jesus Christ, and a shit ton more.

Won't even try to attempt and summarise this. Just listen.

My Plan to Make $100,000,000 In The Next 10 Years

  1. Master a skill
  2. Build a business
  3. Scale it
  4. Invest in the stock market
  5. Invest in Real estate

The Rise Of Russian Oligarchs & The Russia-Ukraine War

They both hold the belief of not watching the news, but in critical times like these, it is a necessity to follow it in their opinion. Usually, it's all about sensation and clicks. Now, it's more about conveying information about a war happening.

They also talked about the Russian Oligarchs and their weird history.

Asking The Founder Of Grammarly How He Built A $13 Billion Company

This is just proof that you don't need a shit ton of employees to build a software business. He was basically almost alone for most of it. Now he has hired teams etc. He talks about the struggles he had and how he overcame them. In the end, they even asked for business ideas that go with Grammarly. Give it a listen ;)

How to Learn To Do Anything In Record Time

Won't be able to justify it by summarising so just watch it if you're interested xd. It's only 30 minutes.

From Broke At 26 To $100 Million Net Worth By 31 (Alex Hormozi Interview)

His relentlessness is amazing, he saw a gap in the market and seized the opportunity to its fullest. This interview is basically his story of becoming successful. He used very clever marketing tactics to get and keep clients.

One of them is, that they deposit money to him to hold them accountable in their fitness journey. And in the end, they get their money back, but they have the chance of keeping the money there and getting upgraded to a better plan with more attention from them and blabalabla sales talk.

Clever.

This App Entrepreneur Made $10,000,000 By Cloning A Viral Game

So this dude was smart and quick and seized an opportunity very fast. Basically, the wordle game wasn't made yet as an app. The app became suuuper popular. But his downfall was as fast as his uprise. He almost immediately got sued and had his app removed from the app store :///

Iman Gadzhi - Fatherless Podcast #3

All about self-improvement. Nothing else to say.

How Men Can Survive The Modern Dating World - Hamza | Modern Wisdom Podcast 421

Cringe title, I know. They didn't even talk about that a lot. They talked more about self-improvement and they had a very good talk/debate about addiction, including porn, sex and fast food

Joe De Sena On True Resilience, Choosing Your Hard & Why Discomfort Is Oxygen | Rich Roll Podcast

The way he's raising his kids is insane. They talk a lot about parenting and resilience and how to correctly bring discomfort into your children's lives, and how vital that is in raising successful kids.

Sometimes, in my opinion, it's a bit overboard. Wouldn't be this harsh with my own kids in the future, but definitely would be leaning more toward his style instead of the conventional pampering style xd.

Guide to Waking Up Early - Staying Alert and Keeping the Peace - Jocko Willink

Honestly, read my article about it instead ;)

Okay but in all seriousness this does offer another perspective to this topic. And it has other semi-useful tips.

My guide is still better though ;)

Jordan Peterson - Take Control Of Your Life | Modern Wisdom Podcast 307

Just a beautiful conversation between Chris and Peterson. Chris asked very good questions to which Peterson answered very well. It wasn't an information-packed podcast with life-changing advice. It was just a great flowing conversation anyone should listen to.

The Biggest Gym Mistake

So this one dude started going to the gym to lose weight. He went every day, for only 5 minutes max.

Everyone was critiquing him, "You can't do anything in only 5 minutes, you're wasting your time, you'll never lose weight".

But he kept going for over 6 weeks every day for a maximum of 5 minutes.

He was mastering the art of showing up. Until you've built the habit there is nothing to optimise.

Now, he has lost over 100 lbs.

A habit has to be established before it can be improved.

Until you become the person who shows up every day there's nothing to optimise.

We're so worried about figuring out the best diet plan or the best business idea or the optimal way to boost my bench press etc.

But we don't do the thing that is fundamental to all of it which is just showing up.

How I'm Earning 20% APY

Two words, crypto baby! I'm YieldFarming which in turn gives me an interest rate of 20% a year. I'll be writing an article that goes in-depth into how and why it exactly works.

And why Anchor, the protocol I'm using, can offer such high returns.

But shortly said, I'm providing liquidity (money) between two currencies. This way they can be traded with each other.

This is exactly how a bank used to work before a bank account was mandatory.

They needed to attract money so that they had liquidity to play with. And that you could withdraw actual cash out of thin air from numbers on a screen.

So to attract money they offered high-interest rates, anywhere from 8-12%.

This is what Anchor is doing, but then in crypto. Also, with Anchor, unlike others, you can withdraw your money at any time.

If anyone wants to learn how to exactly step by step get your money from the bank into Anchor and earn 20%, reply to this newsletter. I will gladly help you out.

Mindset Clarifications

Self-discipline & Do what makes sense

People apparently didn't understand the two mindsets I briefly mentioned last month. My bad did a shit job at explaining.

I can build self-discipline while doing stuff that makes sense to me.

Someone commented that it doesn't make sense for me to journal since I don't like it.

And that it doesn't make sense to watch a little bit of Netflix during the weekend first thing in the morning since during the morning I have to be productive.

Fair comment, lemme explain.

I am fully against hedonistic behaviour. 100% against it. That can't be your goal in life. You'll end up miserable.

So I do stuff that I don't like doing but that I know is good for me. Like journaling, it has improved my mental health significantly.

This also builds up self-discipline, doing the same thing every single day even though you don't necessarily enjoy it.

It. Just. Makes. Sense.

Although, I'm starting to enjoy journaling xd.

Then the Netflix in the morning. Yes, it seems as if it's unproductive. Yes, it seems as if I'm wasting time.

People have cheat days in their diet, right? Top athletes eat a little bit of chocolate or a little bit of candy every day.

Probably just one small piece.

But it keeps them sane.

During the weekend, what I crave is just enjoying lying down in my bed and watching a bit of Netflix.

It keeps me sane.

I don't even do it every weekend.

Sometimes I'm super busy so I just immediately start hustling.

And when I do do it, I watch one episode, which lasts 20 minutes.

Boohoo if I spend 20 minutes of my morning enjoying some Netflix.

Next month's goals

  1. Complete React course to the extent that I need to
It would be impossible to fully complete it in a month. So just complete it enough so that I can code in React well without a tutorial. And then build the shitty website for the smart contract of replicate #2. It doesn't deserve a fancy one.
  2. Focus a bit more on school,
To be honest, I've been lacking at school. Too many cool projects to work on and too much cool stuff happening in blockchain and crypto to learn. I've been very distracted from school. I don't regard it as a priority. And you can see it in my scores whoops. Just a tad more effort will suffice.
  3. Keeping consistency in my routine
is the most important thing. I've been on a huge streak. My consistency has been amazing. Gotta keep it up!

This was it for this month! Hope you enjoyed it, share it with a friend! Click here to see my full portfolio. See ya next month losers ;))
